We are who we are......

We just wanted to let you all in on who we are, and where we are in life.

I'm Kimber Montoya (soon to be Fitzgerald..... still weird for me!!)
I'm currently attending the University of New Mexico. I'm finishing my last few pre-nursing classes, and starting to apply to nursing schools. If I get into the program I'm hoping to get into (UNM- nursing school, ranked 2nd in the nation), it will be 14 months of clinicals and I would graduate with my BSN. Wish me luck!!! Besides that, I'm working as a server at chili's (with Rachelle), either in class or studying, making time for Erik and my family and if time permits.... some sort of social life. I loooove the outdoors (appreciate New Mexico weather). I love my family, friends, and the gospel more than anything! I'm enjoying the engaged life... Erik is AMAZING. I try to live life to it's fullest, and have fun!

Mr Erik Fitzgerald (he will also be blogging):
Is my little athlete! He played baseball (school, club.... year around), and football in high school. He hurt his arm pitching in high school, but still got picked up by Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake (YAY!!!!) and pursued his love of the game. After playing for them for a few years, he transfer over to Central Washington University to further his education and play for them. It was there when he realized his arm was completely done (terrible thing for these pitchers). After completing a year with CWU, he made the big decision to move down to New Mexico. Since then (a year next week), he has gotten a job with the government working as a student engineer at New Mexico Tech. He is also attending school at New Mexico Tech (very good school!). He is going to become an electrical engineer. He recently changed his major and wants to go full force until he obtains his masters.... that being said, he also has about 2 or 3 years left as well. He is so excited about this degree. He comes home every night and can't wait to show me his "programs," or "microchips" that he's build. I know he made the right decision switching majors. He works so hard at everything he does and wants to be successful and be able to provide..... I'm proud to say, that's my future husband! The love for his family is overflowing! He (we) miss them very much. Besides school, work, studying, church.... Erik is obsessed with working out! In his busy schedule, he still manages to hit the gym for an hour or 2 a night. OH yeah..... I think he loves me too :).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIK!!!!!!!

(P.S. I can't figure out this photo thing. How do I get them where I want throughout the text? and why are some bigger than others? Please help!!!! Technology is my weakness....)
